Theo Hakola is back with his twelfth album to date and it’s a damn good one! Strong minimal bass lines, shimmering violin, sarcastic and conscious lyrics, haunted rock with songs dealing with the sad modern world. It reminds us, obviously, of Passion Fodder (his previous band), but you can also hear some echoes of David Eugene Edwards (16 Horsepower/Wovenhand) or even the old australian Nick… « Goddamn My Humans » is not a nice southern indie-folk record, it’s a deep dive into our lives enduring the proto-fascist world ruled by some stupid minds (listen to the song The Dunner-Kruger Effect).
