French-american duo now settled in Rennes (France) offers a singular alchemy between dark
electronics & industrial music mixed with ethereal and cold shoegaze fragrances.
Their sound is full of humanity, resilience and resistance. Bilingual precise voice resonates
within compositions of European sound poetics, an eclectic collage dreamy & angry, reminding
of some golden age 4ad but linked with synthetic addiction (Cabaret Voltaire, Meat Beat
Manifesto, Chris & Cosey, Massive Attack…). But there is also something colder & rampant
quite like early Cocteau Twins, Lowlife or even Swallow.
The haughty and intimate voice reminds us of Gitane Demone, Jean/Jeanette (This Mortal Coil)
or even Mona Soyoc (Kas Product).
We enter « For One And For All » like in a dreamy Lynchian trip, political, ghostly… Oceanic
sound in the first part becoming trance/dance in second part of the record.
